EZ MT5 to Telegram Signal Provider Expert Overview
Proper integration must be established between MetaTrader 5 and Telegram robots to enable Expert to automatically send messages to Telegram. This relies on two key components:
- Bot Token: a unique access key that allows experts to send messages through your Telegram bot;
- Telegram ID: A numeric identifier indicating the destination of the message (individual chat, group or channel).
Create a Telegram bot for trade messaging
To send trading information from Expert to Telegram, you must create a dedicated Telegram bot that acts as a bridge between MetaTrader 5 and Telegram.
The bot was created using the official “Robot Dad” bot on Telegram.

Steps to create a bot:
- Open the official @BotFather bot in Telegram
- send command /newsbot
- Give the robot a name
- Enter a unique "username" ending with "Bot" (e.g. @test858bot)
- Upon confirmation, BotFather will send a message containing your bot's bot token

Get Telegram chat ID for connecting with experts
A chat ID is a unique numeric code that determines where a message should be delivered (individual, group, or channel).
Get your chat ID
The bot must know your Telegram chat ID in order to send messages. One of the easiest ways to get this ID is to use the Show Json Bot.

- Open the @jsoonbot
- Click " Start " and send any message
- The bot will reply with details including your numerical chat ID

Get group chat ID
To ask an expert to send a message to the Telegram group:
- Add bots to your group
- Assign admin rights to the bot
- Add group to @jsoonbot
- The bot will reply to the group's chat ID

Get channel chat ID
Automatically send messages to Telegram channels:
- Add the bot to the channel as an administrator and allow messaging permissions;
- Add @jsoonbot to the channel and send a message;
- The bot will reply with the channel's numeric chat ID.
Note: After getting the chat ID, you can delete the Show Json Bot from the group or channel if needed.

Set up and run MT5 with Telegram signal provider
To enable messaging, MetaTrader 5 must be allowed to access the Telegram server via WebRequest.
Enable internet requests
- In MT5, go to the “Tools” menu;
- Select Options → Expert Advisor tab;
- Check the box: Allow WebRequests for the listed URLs;
- Add: https://api.telegram.org.

Running the Expert
After enabling WebRequest, attach the Expert to the chart and enter the bot token and chat ID in the input fields.
Experts are now ready to send MT5 signals to Telegram. You can also save configuration settings.
